Patio Vegetable Container Garden Update #2 4/17/10

As you can see, everything is growing very nicely. I have moved everything outside now and have also moved some things into bigger containers.       Vertical cucumbers are a great idea.
      Great compost for container gardens is used coffee grounds.? Add the grounds and a few nightcrawlers or even a bait worms.

      You just reminded me that I need to be a bit more frugal when it comes to plant pots. I’ve? bought an Earthbox & several other planters that were too pricey. In particular, I like the bucket idea you have there. Thanks for sharing!!

      I’m glad you liked some of my ideas – the only issue I’ve had is the? plastic is very durable in bright sunlight, but otherwise it works. good luck with the garnden =-)

      0:54 Brian- Don’t you think you need to thin? out that cilantro and basil? It would seem like there would be? serious overcrowding by the time the seedlings are a few weeks old. Great video.
