How do i get a rabbit?

      Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

Well.. I have already had one rabbit a few years ago but that died when he was 7 years old… Im now 13 and would like another rabbit, I live in lancaster and i have seen an adoption center just out side lancaster but im unsure about it because they have to check your house and my garden isn’t very big, Also i would like a baby rabbit but i have no idea where to buy them from…. I am using the money i got for christmas!

There’s a hutch at Pets At Home for £55 and it comes with food and accessories like hay and Other things like that but i would like some advice on if it is worth it as just for a single hut its about £80 and i only have around £130 :S I will also want a run which is wort £22 from Pets At Home but is it better to get a cheaper one off somewhere like Ebay?

I need to persuade my mum about it as well she loved my old rabbit Tilly but this time she isn’t sure my dad is fine with it but how can i get my mum to help, I mean i know they need attention and i managed that with tilly and he was fine and i am postive i can do it and also its not her money shes spending its mine and i would just like a new animal, I have a cat who gets on with rabbits very well as when my cousin brought her rabbit round to play with tilly Henry, My cat, Loved the rabbits and was very protective over both of them and now my cat is 16 and is old and not very well and i want a new animal before he goes :/

I am not bothered to much on the breed as long as it doesnt look like tilly i am fine, As i dont want to feel like i have got a second him and find my new rabbit better. Tilly was a lop bunny and they are adorable i would love another one of them in brown or maybe a Dutch Rabbit!

Please can you answer my questions on persuading my mum to get me a rabbit and my cage and where a good place to get them is!
      😀 Thank You x

        Best indoor gardening (hydroponic etc)?

        Friday, December 17th, 2010

My girlfriend enjoys gardening but currently lives in the city to attend college. I am looking to get her a way to garden without an outdoor gardening system for christmas. She wants to grow smaller herbs and vegetables but does not have any outdoor room as she lives in a dorm.

Can anyone suggest an indoor system for growing multiple plants that also occupies minimal space with the best results?

I have looked into hydroponic and aeroponic systems but as I am a Poli. sci major I have no clue what to look for. Any suggestions would be great.

        Gifts for 80 yo Grandma?

        Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

Ok, so my Grandmother is in her early 80s and I drew her name for Secret Santa 🙂 We don’t have a price limit yet but I am not wanting to go too high. As cheap as possible would be great since we’re trying to keep the gifts about the same throughout the family (somebody getting diamond earrings compared to somebody getting a gift card is what we are trying to avoid) we are all very appreciative, but trying to be smart!

I don’t know what to get her for Christmas though, I am not in state with the rest of my family so I can’t offer my time or services. She has been given plenty of windchimes, personalized things, family focused items, blankets, sweaters, garden decor, mugs, homemade items… All of the things that people usually associate Grandmothers to love. And she loves them all, I just want to get her something different.

Are there any electronics that are easy to operate or gadgets she could use? She comes with old age so she doesn’t have the greatest eyesight and has arthritis as well as tremors (her hands shake when she’s using them) ?? The only idea I have had is maybe a digital picture frame but I don’t know that I want to get it for her just yet. ANY IDEAS?!?!
She’s got 6 grandchildren, obviously, she’s my GRANDMA. & 8 great grandchildren with myself giving her #9 sometime next month. 🙂

Do you think I can use this in wedding decorations?

        Friday, October 22nd, 2010

Do you think that you can use pine garland creatively without making the wedding reception look christmas-y, I want kind of a garden feel. I am having the reception in an open pavillion at a park in August. I thought about draping some on the ceiling but I don’t want it to look like christmas decor, any ideas?
