      Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

So I am ready to start growing my own pot, and i got a 430 watt HPS light with the 30 extra watts in the MH spectrum.

I have done alot of reading and its basically said anywhere between 50-75 or even 100 watts per plant is good.

Does anyone have any expieriance with this, what would be the best way to go? Will i get the same yeild either way, 4 phat plants vs 6ish medium ones vs 8 little ones???

What is the most cost-effective way to build/run an indoor greenhouse?

          Saturday, July 2nd, 2011

I live in a small apartment in San Francisco. There is one tiny East-facing window in my bedroom, and I can’t leave it open during the day because I live in the ghetto. All the other residents in the building are old, and like it warm and dry, so that’s what the room is like 24/7. But I’m used to having lots of nice green plants around, so I want to build an indoor greenhouse to grow plants. Note: I don’t want to grow pot, just interesting, colorful tropical plants, so suggestions for the bomb-ass high-yield hydroponic equipment doesn’t help me. What is the most cost-effective way to do this? I need to build a set-up in which I can maintain high humidity, good ventilation, and lights, without trashing the environment or my wallet (I’m willing to invest some money and a lot of time 🙂 I’d also like to have a separate section for cacti. What can I say, I grew up with a big garden in San Diego in which you could grow anything, so I’m spoiled.

how do i grow parsley in an indoor herb garden?

              Tuesday, December 21st, 2010

i have a small pot with some parsley seeds and soil in it, im hoping to grow the parsley indoors. i have a place to put in a south-facing window.

my main question is, how do i water it correctly? someone told me it has to be watered often, but be careful not to saturate it, so im not so sure how much water i should be giving it or how often.

              thanks

Indoor Herb Garden – Mixing plants?

              Friday, October 22nd, 2010

Can I plant parsley, basil and thyme in the same indoor tray?

Also, what kind of fertilizer do I need to use?
How much time do I wait for them to "acclimate" to their sunlight until I add some soil and pot them?
Please read the question carefully – I know I can grow herbs inside, I have a tray for them already. I just want to know if I can plant those three herbs in the SAME tray?
