How do I start a garden?

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

I have nothing but a bunch of seeds. I want to have a vegetable garden. What tools do I need and how do I prepare the yard? I want to go as organic as possible. The inexpensive route too please.

Can you help me garden my garden?

    Monday, July 25th, 2011

I want to begin a garden. I really don’t have any gardening tools and I planted seeds about 1 or 2 weeks ago. They have not shown any growth and my dog often steps over where I planted them at? Do you know if that would affect the growth? Any suggestions?

Gardening-What flower and vegetable seeds are best to start indoors first?

              Wednesday, April 27th, 2011

SPRING is in the air, and I’m getting inspired! My husband got me a little heated/indoor green house, and I want to start growing some seeds. What flowers and fruits/vegetables are easy to start from seed?

I am interested in attracting hummingbirds and butterflies to my yard, so I try to plant as many flowers that attract them.

Also,we have a lot of critters living on /around our property. I might have a vegetable container garden.-so i can bring the plants in at night. What fruits/vegetables grow well in containers?

Thanks for your help! Happy gardening!
