How are you turning your spring garden?

Sunday, March 4th, 2012

Are you still using a pitch fork or is it all automated for you now.
Ours is so small we just began turning it over by using hand tools.
Probably be less time to use a tiller but it is a reason for everyone to get together.
Still to cold to plant but we are at least getting a start.
How does your garden do this time of year?

      Friday, July 29th, 2011

It has for big spikes on the bottom in a circle and a handle you grab with both hands. You punch the stakes into the ground and rotate to loosen the soil? Not sure if it’s considered a tiller or a cultivator or something else?

get rid of out of control weeds in garden?

        Saturday, July 23rd, 2011

I’ll admit I’ve been neglecting my garden. It is full of weeds! I don’t have any kind of garden tools to clean it up with. what do I need to do? The lawn grass is even moving in. There is a mulch paper that’s oven the entire garden for years now, with holes where things were planted. I don’t know what to do. All I can think is I can’t afford a tiller or anything.
