thank you for this video, I have no money to buy food because I am a student and have lost my job, if i can grow vegetables it will certainly help!

Very important skills with the way things are going economically. The benefits of subsistence seem set to exceed the costs, especially with the way supermarket prices are going here in England.

Ok, just a one correction, YOU DO NOT WANT TO PLANT IN “FLUFFY” SOIL I promise you will have bad germination, corn especially will fall down because roots don’t have something firm to grasp, and when roots hit air pockets in “fluffy soil” they will stop. Just like when your starting seeds in compostable cups and when the roots poke through and dry up, it will be like that.

another thing in carrots is try remove as many stones as possible from the soil or it will stop the root from growing. i remember one year there was this one carrot that i looked after specially so it could be really big, i pulled it out, and a stone stopped it growing an inch down!!! very dissapointing
